This is the best pre-shave product I have ever used. I recently did a comparison of this oil with others in my den, and Van Yulay won out. Today I was reminded of the quality of this oil when I returned to it after using a glycerine pre shave soap for a few weeks. My skin is smoother and no hint of irritation, even though I used my Futur set on six for three passes!
I will be replacing this one, as it has become essential to my shaving routine.

As a straight razor shaver, prep is of the utmost importance to a decent shave. I was using my own homemade pre shave oil,but after using this blend,there is no comparison. and just seems to add a little more glide . Highly recommend for any type of shaving. Craig B

I have to be honest and admit I have never been a fan of pre-shave oils. I tried them many years ago and I don’t think they were formulated correctly. The ones I used in the past tended to gum things up (mainly in the razor) more than make the shaving experience more comfortable. However, I am happy to report this was not the case with Van Yulay’s product. It provided a very thin layer of protection and glide. It has several oils in its blend, but also a lot of skin food. The face feel post-shave was amazing and I had no nicks or irritation in some of the spots I tend to (lower neck, in particular). Highly recommended!

Absolutely LOVE this Pre-shave Oil!!
In my daily shave routine from here on out. Special shout-out to Johnathan from “the Groomsmen” on YouTube for recommending this product! It moisturizes and acts as a skin protectant and just adds to the shave! It doesn’t add slickness imo, which is not necessary for me… it just adds the “oomph” to my skin that makes it feel great! Great product! I highly recommend this. Of note, I have “the cube” and it’s been rendered useless.

This is the first preshave oil I’ve tried that I actually liked. Does a good job of prepping the skin and whiskers. I’ve been using other preshaves but I going to be switching to this one moving forward
